What are you thankful for this season? This is a statement that we hear so often this holiday season. I am thankful for this and I am thankful for that. We all ask this of others and we all have our standard answer.
But my question to you today is this: What are you truly thankful for??? Are you thankful for that huge dirty pile of laundry that you have to wash? Are you thankful for all of those awful trips to the grocery store? Are you thankful for the massive amount of taxes that you have to pay?
I am thankful for that dirty pile of laundry because that means my house is full of people that I love and that are healthy enough to get those clothes dirty. I was speaking to a friend of mine about this just the other day and she is particularly lucky as the company her husband works for actually takes care of a lot of their laundry for them! Apparently, it is quite common for companies in high-risk industries like utilities and construction to take care of the laundry of their workers to ensure that everyone stays safe and keeps their uniform as clean as possible. You can learn more about the benefits of using a commercial laundry service to keep your clothing clean by heading to https://www.phsbesafe.co.uk/. l It must be such a relief to know that your uniform is in safe hands.
Anyway, I am also thankful for all those grocery store trips because that means I have money to purchase the food and I have people around me that are going to eat it all up within 24 hours. I am thankful for all of those taxes that I have to pay because that means if my house is on fire, someone is going to come and put out the fire. If I am in a car accident, someone is going to come and take me to the hospital. If I am in need, someone is going to come and save me.
It is easy to be thankful for the “fun” stuff but are you thankful for the “not so fun stuff”? I truly am and want to remember it every day.
What not so great things are you thankful for?? Tell us in the comment section below. Happy Thanksgiving!!
